Cancellation Policy

Every listing on Desert Place Rentals has one of three cancellation policies, shown on the listing page before you submit an inquiry. These policies govern refunds when a Renter cancels a confirmed booking.

Flexible

Full refund up to 24 hours before the event.

Moderate

Full refund up to 5 days before the event.

Strict

Full refund up to 14 days before the event.

Before a booking is confirmed

A booking inquiry isn't a confirmed booking, and no payment is collected, until our team follows up and confirms availability and details with you directly. You can withdraw an inquiry at any time at no cost before that point.

If we cancel

If Desert Place Rentals is unable to honor a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund regardless of the listing's cancellation policy. See the Property Partner Terms for what that means for the property's owner.

Outside the cancellation window

Cancellations made after the refund window in a listing's policy has passed are not refunded, except where required by law or at our discretion.

No-shows

If a Renter doesn't show up for a confirmed booking without canceling, the booking is treated as completed and is not refunded.

Disputes

If something about a booking didn't match the listing, contact us via our contact page first — most issues are resolved directly, and we'll help sort out a fair resolution.
