When you're comparing venues, price the total setup, not just the hourly rate. A slightly higher hourly rate that includes furniture and a working kitchen can easily beat a cheaper space you have to fully outfit yourself.
Ask about add-ons before you book, not after
Pool heating, spa heating, extra tables, coolers — legitimate hosts price these separately and tell you upfront. Verify the host actually manages the property
